Those of you with access to BBC NI might like to see how I got on with Stephen Nolan, Friday night 9.30.

Oh, I wore my "smiley - dontpanic badge to the reheasrals, and everyone loved it and was asking where I got it!

Would this be Panic Attack? Hopefully BBC NI programmes are available on iPlayer to the rest of the UK, and if so I'll have to watch it tomorrow smiley - smiley

I know what you mean when you say it's all about the panic of the moment. You could have given that answer successfully on something like family fortunes - it's that HOT SEAT thing that un-nerved you.

That's what the game reminded me of, a cross between Family Fortunes and probably The Weakest Link.

I Wonder whether this gameshow is going to make it across the Irish Sea and into mainstream UK schedules.

You know, even if my brain had been in gear, I'd have said things like Stephen Fry, Alan Davis, Bill Bailey, Dara O'Brien, Rory Bremner, Paul Whitehouse, the Little Britains....

I doubt if I'd have said any more than a couple from the list that Norn Irn people came up with!

But I'd already sussed game-plan-wise that I wanted to stay out of the chair as long as possible. So when the computer picked me to be in it first I knew I wasn't going to be in it too long smiley - laugh

Ah well, c'est la vie.

Txt convo with my sis this morning:

Sis: "you came across much better than SN himself. He's too big."

Me: "Aw thanks! he is on a weight loss programme, much publicised on his radio show"

Sis: "That's hilarious - didn't mean literally big - meant he's too big theatrically. You seemed real and he seemed fake. But you also looked much much better than him!"

Ah, sincerity. If you can fake that, you've got it made, eh?

Enjoyed that a lot smiley - biggrin I'm not normally into TV quiz shows at all, but I really liked the format and local flavour of Panic Attack. The slaggings between Nolan and the contestants and each other was hilarious and a breath of fresh air in a format that's usually so sterile and safe.

And of course Beatrice looked great and her banter with Nolan was spot on smiley - ok I'll join the queue for an autograph smiley - ok

Delighted to see that Harry Hill got a Bafta as best entertainment (in fact he got 2 didn't he?)

Now if only those 100 Norn Irn people they'd surveyed had been as on the ball, finger on the pulse as me...
