... and welcome to h2g2. My name is Solnushka and I am one of the volunteer ACEs, which basically means that I flit around greeting new researchers like yourself, spelling really badly in the process and helping out wherever I can.

Ah, but regarding licence fee quibbles, think how much better it is to have this place than [insert name of terrible BBC show of your choice here] smiley - winkeye I guarrentee that after a few weeks you will be demanding that the entitire BBC budget be turned over to the h2g2 team!

And what exactly is a travelling space monkey from hell? Still I can see it's tiring, so here: have some smiley - tea and smiley - cake I'd offer you some samles of popular chocolate brands, but I'm afraid they got eaten on the way over...

Anyway if you have any questions, please do hit the reply button below and ask away. Go on, you know you want to... Here are a couple of links in the meantime, but feel free to ignore them if you have already found them. Or just ignore them smiley - biggrin :

Ask h2g2, where you can ask anything except 'What is the meaning of life, the universe and everything?': <./>Askh2g2</.>

The h2g2 newspaper, The Post, which as well as neing a hugely entertaining read also has pages of usful links, including one to all sorts of clubs, gangs, societies and cliques you can join here: <./>ThePost</.>

A Space Travelling Monkey from Hell?
It's exactly what is says, a monkey who travels in space and hails from hell (Liverpool, Hell, originally)

Ta for the cake and tea, but us simian types aren't supposed to eat the chocolate (gives us terrible spots, you know, the bods at the lipstick factory don't like spots.).

Anyhoo, got to go, I'm due in the wind tunnel.

I wouldn't, myself, describe Liverpool as Hell exactly, but then if you come from there, then I guess you know better.

Hope you survived the wind tunnel. What were they doing, testing a new strain of aerodynamic fur?

And a lipstick factory? Ah, this would be the cover for the space launch...
