Sport.

Last August, a colleague dragged me to the sports club down the road from the office, and declared we needed to sign up, and go at least twice a week.
All of September and October, we managed three lunchtimes a week.
Then, last week, she took the whole week off, and she lives out of town. So of course I didn't go either.
And this week, well, I've taken the week off.
Since Monday was a bank holiday, and I won't be home on Friday, that only left us with today.
So at the appointed time, I was in the entrance hall of our office, and so was she, and we tried to motivate each other.

We managed 35 minutes on the treadmill (she ran, I walked), then 10 minutes of rowing, and a bit of abs.
It was a pretty good one, considering we hadn't practised in two whole weeks...

Also, in possibly related news, I had to tighten my belt last week, because my trousers were in grave danger of falling off. smiley - ok

Exercise is a good thing. You don't need to run marathons, 30 minutes three times per week at an intensity that raises your heart rate (a little) makes a huge difference. I have jogged for forty years, and despite being almost 70 I have the body of a 25 year old. Hopefully no one will ask for it back. smiley - smiley
