I'm glad to see something on the hash bash on here! I've lived in a2 for my whole (short) life. hash bash is so crazy mad! something else important is that if you want good deals on cool stuff, you get it during hash bash. I bought my favorite skirt during hash bash, when i traded cash for a gift certificate with someone i had never seen before.
since hash bash is not the only great people watching place in ann arbor (summer festival, blues and jazz, art fairs [when millions flock to the cites to spend a lot of money on art]), the uniqueness about hash bash is not just the thick cloud of smoke that covers all of downtown. it mostly comes from the variety of people who come so far not just to enjoy culture and energy but also to share a semi political statement. plus it makes a great party.

Hehehe! I was actually at UM last summer. Well, not attending. I was visiting family and we decided to go through the couple of museums on campus. Always cool to see some place make it on Hootoo.
