A work collegue who has been off sick for some considerable time has started back, which is great. He's a lovely person and we get on well. On seeing me for the first time, he swept me up into a hug, which was lovely - except that he had so much aftershave on that I can still smell in on me an hour later.

Tip: less is often more when it comes to aftershave, guys.

Eww, doncha just hate that! Those make-up remover/facial wipes come in handy for this kind of yucky incident.

If only I weren't allergic to make-up remover wipes! smiley - laugh

It's one of those really tricky things, especially as I know that if I couldn't smell that I'd end up smelling the smell of cigarettes underneath it. Oh well, I'm still pleased to see him back.

Chocolate body butter? That sounds like it has a story behind it.

It does... but not the kind that you might be thinking of smiley - blush

I guess there must be a range of moisturising body butters for sale that have cocoa butter in them, or added chocolate aroma, but whenever you're near anyone who's slapped this stuff on in the morning the sweet chocolatey smell is overpowering and quite stomach-churning. It'll fill an entire bus, and if you have to get to work there's no escape smiley - sadface

Like coconut-smelling body lotions. smiley - yuk I love coconut, but the smell of it as a perfume/scent/chemical concoction drives me potty.

You often get coconut-scented suntan lotions. Have you ever eaten coconut flavour yoghurt? It always makes me think I of sunscreen. Not nice.
