h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Now, I've settled nicely in Leeds. The job is going well and my bosses have said that they have been very pleased with my progress, which allays my fears of inadequacy quite a bit. I've joined a choir, which keeps my musical side satisfied, and I have a couple of close friends, which is enough to keep me happy.

Thing is, I'd like to hold a meet here in Leeds. Does anyone know the best place on h2g2 to proclaim this? The Post? The old meets page (if I can find it)? It's just been such a long time since I met up with complete strangers who all share my love of beer and DNA.

I can offer one single bed, or plenty of floor space for two if needs be. Maybe we can even get some bridge in- unless Odo would kill me for suggesting it.

Well, that makes three of us. Any idea where to put this up for a little more traffic? Askh2g2 seems all sorts of the wrong place.

The Community Soapbox used to be the technically correct place. It's a bit under-used now, though.

Anywhere and everywhere would be my selection.
