Ok, lets hear it from Fenny now...

I joined two days after the place opened. However far back that was. I'm one of the old folks, I guess.

I found out what's wrong with geocities - it hates me. They deleted my space because of a 'violation of terms of service", because I didn't have a 'look at my pretty fishies' page at geocities just in case someone stumbled in and made themselves vulnerable to the ads. So the fish thing is going to need vast, sweeping rehabilitation. But I'll do it. The fish will live.... LIVE!!! BUHWAHWAHWA!!!

Right, now I'm really mad! I think I'm going to make it absolutely clear the I hate Geocities and they are bad, bad, bad. Don't suppose anyone can do a 'I'm boycotting Geocities' sticker to go on my homepage?

It's three AM, I've got nothing to do tomorrow (today) but sleep only to get up far too much later to go do insane, outrageous things people my age should do more often. I don't see why I can't make a fish and boycott Geocities sign before all that.

Alright, well maybe I do need sleep, seeing as it took five tries to spell 'Geocities' correctly for the sign.

Seriuosly, I had been thinking about what I'd put on a website. The answer being :nothing that hasn't already been said. Anything I have/had to contribute to NIMH/Clapton/Maiden communities has already been expressed on h2g2. But thanks for the opportunity.

But... it's not a website. It's just a link you click on to gt to the fish picture.

It looked like something that would give me a website to me. All that stuff about 'we give you 20MB of space and some nice neighbours'.

Suppose I'll have to look for it myself then. Can't see how I'd go about finding it.

You have to click where it says 'download file now'. The rest is just advertisments.

Hey Fenny, I found some fishes cached on my hdd. Luckily mine was among them. Do you need copies?

BTW - sorry if this is a very stupid question, but what is going to happen about the fish? Isn't there a H2G2 place somewhere - think there's a link from Bruce's page - where you can e-mail pictures etc too and they store for you? Or could you possibly e-mail my Bluebottle fish to [email protected] if you don't mind me uploading it somewhere myself? What do you think is the best solution?

Sorry, I've been somewhat dead. But now I'm all better... All the fish I still have will be re-uploaded to a different host. It'll be sort of like a baggae claim. Should be done by the end of the day .
