No, not really....it used to be the signature of the perfect American family- daddy on the league, the whole family goes weekly... but then again all that fell apart about 10,15 years ago . Maybe it's just not that big here in California, I don't know about everyone else...

Now you don't hear much about it, and while the bowling alleys are still surviving, you'll never see a place full...

Thats a shame It's popularity dipped here about 20 years ago..but has had something of a revival over the last 10 years I help to run a youth bowling league as well..got to train the new *Fred Flintstones* of the future LOL

hehehe...yep And thats in my spare time..you should see the *Large,heavy,dangerous* objects I have to contend with at school

Now that I can understand . Therefore )fish( were created they have a soothing effect.

Indeed It's said that *music soothes the savage breast*(often mis-quoted as beast!!) but in h2g2 it's a fish that does it every time

Can I have a Violet fish at least and can it be called Ford (who is my husband).

As Fenchurch would sit here and make the fish while having breakfast and brushing her hair and making sure she had exact change for the bus, she many a mornings wondered when her dear friend Garibaldi would ask for one. Little did she know it was his perfect timing, for he chose a morning which plagued Fenchurch with an illness bad enough to keep her away from work but not bad enough to keep her in bed, thus having her devote her morning to solely his fish and her mug of Sleepytime tea.
