If you have any favourite links which are specifically useful to Mac users, put them here (while you still can!) and I'll transfer them to the actual page when I have a moment... smiley - geeksmiley - biggrin

"Home pages" *won't* be included - just reference material for now, but I may set up a seperate link farm later...

TPG, I'm pretty sure that one's a little too commercial, and thus would risk getting the page hidden... smiley - sadface

They have some interesting links on their "Buddies" list, though - I'll try to skim some of those this afternoon, with a view to including them... smiley - ok

You could also include TheRegister.co.uk which covers general IT news, however anything specific to Macs will appear on this page: http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/39/index.html

That's a good idea in principle, but I'll have to do a little research to locate web interfaces for them, and I don't have time just now... smiley - run

Google don't provide an interface for binary newsgroups (for fairly obvious reasons).
You could just link directly to them eg. news:alt.binaries.mac and let the person's default newsreader handle it.

Thanks, folks! I'll add a "Newsgroups" section later tonight. I'll have a quick scan and find a few others while I'm at it (iMac, Mac-Tech etc.) smiley - ok

All done. Not easy, considering that smiley - bleeping GuideML won't allow an "&" in a link address! If you get the wrong language in the Google headers it's because I had to convert "...?hl=en&group=..." in every header to "...?group=..." - it seems to work. The "English-ish" links are Google's attempt at machine translation. They're not as good as Babelfish, but they do pass the page to be translated in the URL, which makes them suitable for this purpose... smiley - geeksmiley - ok
