Just adding my pound of flesh-Britain has the strangest weather anywhere I have been(not that many places actually!) but we are also the most obsessed with it!!!!!!!!!! However it is still lousy weather todaysmiley - brrsmiley - brrsmiley - brrsmiley - brr so there!!!!!!!!

Nah, that's not true. We only have rain, cold, and warm. Nothing much else. Obsessed? Nah. We just don't like it when it changes, as it's usually at the point where we have managed to work around it.

Round here, whenever it starts raining, everyone runs out to buy umbrellas because they've lost theirs from last time it rained. And by the time everyone gets their umbrellas, it's stopped raining, and it won't rain again for another six months.

And then, when it rains again, everyone runs out and buys umbrellas...you see the pattern here.

The other problem you see is what to do with your wet umbrella when it does rain-maybe someone should open a kiosk ouside every shop etc. so you can shop etc. in comfort without dripping a wet umbrella over everything in sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!smiley - wahsmiley - wahsmiley - wahsmiley - wah and annoying yourself and others intentlysmiley - oksmiley - oksmiley - oksmiley - oksmiley - oksmiley - oksmiley - ok

No...for reasons explained above. Changes in weather always shock us Brits, and then when we get used to it, it changes again...smiley - tongueout

Umbrella stands? We Americans have rendered such things obselete by inventing smaller umbrellas. Or, umbrellas that get very small when all folded up.

I hate umbrellas. And I only like rain when I know I have a hot steaming bath awaiting me at home...

"And dry themselves? smiley - smiley"

That will be fixed in the next bug fix/service patch. That's the American Way.

Just because the umbrella is smaller and fold up real small too it is still an umbrella which is wet and needs depositing somewhere rather than dripping it everywhere.smiley - runsmiley - runsmiley - runsmiley - run-just caught the bus!!!
