I'm sorry I am puzzled, why on earth do you think you are no good? Do you not recognise the help and support that you give out, and the love and respect that that support engenders?

Now Amy, you and I are not regular posters to one another, more ships waving to one another as we pass. Therefore I do not know the ins and outs, the history, etc etc of why you feel worthless. Frankly I'm shocked I don't know what to do, quite what to say, and what I can do to help.

You may be one third of a planet distant from me, but what I do know is the respect I have for you is real. OK?

I think part of the problem (the part that hasn't always been there, despite everyone IRL telling me how great I am) is partly because I feel so helpless sometimes--I mean, what can I really do to help friends that are so far away? OK, so some of them I couldn't really help much if I lived right next door... Nothing I can do can help Amy the Ant's headaches, or Willem... but still...

But you do help though
The one clear thing I got from the Meet was that the way people are on site is the same as they are in real life. Therefore when someone here says they care about someone, it shows that they mean it in real life as well. Help and support is all small steps, it comes in many forms but your contribution is great. OK?
