It is ovious by the introduction that the researcher did his homework. His assignment must of been what are the worst things you can find about Utica. Why was he interested in how many strip joints the City has? Where are the positive things Utica has to offer?
Every City has the average Joe, thats what makes every City unique, its people are from all over the world, a melting pot of opportunity. The Mafia in the Thirties, Sin City of the East, what has that to do with 2001? Time have changed and so has Utica.
Take the time to see the good and don't base your story on the bad of the past, What about the good things, can't you even find one good thing to say.

This researcher, and I use the term loosely, did no research. If they did they would realize the Utica is exit 31 on the thruway not 24
you limmy idiot. Exit 24 is Albany. Get it right.

yea well. i was raised there. Don't you think that's had some effect on my ability to write a coherent guide entry based up on it (my objectivity was blown when i was born) Being that i get hit in the head with frying pans daily by the stiletto heel salesman, I'd say you have no case against me.
"you limmy idiot"....eh? *consider it disregarded*
anywho, maladroit...
this entry was written in 1999. ive not cared too much about updating it, except for quickly throwing in a comment about mayor hannah last year.
and i've never been capable of keeping the albany/utica/verona exits straight in my head.
Oh well.
Obviously, these reasons(amongst many others)are why this entry is not an EDITED GUIDE ENTRY OR AN OFFICIAL GUIDE ENTRY. I believe that is quite apparent.
Do feel free to write your own guide entry about it.
Have a safe day.
(ps...which one is staznak?)
