Alfredo Marquez's side have defied critics with an astonishing start to the competition. Jayasuriya's impressive start to the season has been the basis of their excellent performance, but with consistent performances through the side this hardly looks like a one-man team. With more to come from the likes of Kemp, Dhoni and Styris, they look in good shape at the end of the first round.

Just behind them, the Sticky Wikkits and Organcheese have also fared well. The loss of Chris Gayle will surely hurt the former's chances, though, while Magwitch will be hoping that the loss of three players won't affect her chances too much.

The bottom four, order aside, are as predicted. Egon's choices of captain and wicketkeeper look only second to Skankyrich's in the hunt for 'Poorest Tactical Decision', while BopToff and Death's Nel are only keeping their heads above water thanks to the performances of their respective Australian captains.

It's all to play for going into the Super Eights, though. The next update will follow at the end of that phase.
