its a paper designed speacifically for the acting profression. you can get it from wh smiths

If you're serious a good starting place would be the Screen Actors Guild's website (sag dot org). They list information on how to start, including finding a good talent agent. My step-sister is an actress, not star famous but she's done movies, television and stage. I can't remember who she uses but if I do I'll post it.. I think it was something with a 'B' that sounded like Belarus (which I know is a country and not the name)...

There is a case for drawing attention to your gift through voluntary/community theatre. Also, be aware that "I'm going to make you a star" says nothing about how long you'll be one.

The SAG website will also give you advice on what to expect from an agent and all the things you'll need. There are alot of crooks out there so definitely research it first.

You could try signing in at one of those agencies who do the background people in movies.
