I did it! I got all my college aplications done! They are gone and I don't ever have to worry about them again. Now all I have to worry about is where I want to go. Well, at least now I can't work on them any more if I wanted to. The last two weeks of frantic work almost killed me. Well, congradulations to me!

How many places are you allowed to apply for?

Virabhadra Posted Feb 21, 2002
uh, as far as I know there isn't any limit. I applied to five. If you apply early decision you only do one.

Ah. I'm in the UK, and we can apply to six in total (unless you're doing medicine, when it's four). what subject are you doing, and where do you want to go?

well, I don't know what I want to do yet, which is ok. I'm just applying to lots of libral arts colleges and I can figure it out later. if ever, I know a lot of "adults" who have no idea what they want to be when they grow up. I think I would like to go to either bard or Bryn Mawr. They're both really good schools, and I like them a lot. I have no idea if any of the schools i applyed to will accept me though. A friend of mine just got rejected by her fierst choice. It is really scary, all these compleat strangers who have never met you and don't really care about you deciding on your future.

Ah... here you apply to both course and institution, so it really helps to have pretty much the same course choices so that you seem committed.
As for your first choice institutions - I got rejected by my first choice last year, but I reapplied this year and got in. There's perseverence for you...

well good for you. I probubly wouldn't have the guts to try again at a place that had rejected me. I'm really glad I don't have to apply for courses yet! I had enough trouble decideing on mt science fair topic, I don't know what I would do if I had to make a decision which would actualy have an efect on the rest of my life!
