Just so I know whether I should pick up my religous zealot sick and bash you in the softer regions, please answer the following question. Which would describe your foundation best, are you anti-anti-athiests or anti-theists?

We're anti-"argument from authority" and pro reasoned debate. That's about the full list of our pros and antis.

Consider the zealot stick put away. I have no probelm with reasoned debate if that's what people want. Just as long as it doesn't consist of reasonable sounding arguements used to justify viewpoints, rather than the views being formed by the debate. Something which has caused atrocities just as religion has.

I'm an Aboriginal Australian Zen Buddhist and totally anti Islamonazi
That a good enough description?
Warning don't port scan Jemaah Islamia or Islamic Jihad.
They have learnt(the hard way) some nasty tricks that can destroy your File allocation table in Win 9X(even through a good fire wall and virus scanner of which I have the latest)

Blatherskite described this forum as being "Freedom From Fundamentalism Forum", which is fairly accurate. So far as I can tell we have all sorts here from tree-hugging hippy-types, to rational atheists, via most of the old religions including Buddhism. (I speak as a token representative of all three )

Hi Ben, good to hear from you!
Rod, what's this "Islamonazi" stuff which sounds so sinister? Not a term I've come across before, although we are all aware of religious fundamentalists of all types.

I'm anti-belief, but I don't mind if everyone else isn't.
