Hi y'all,
Just to let you know, I may not be especially deep or intellectual over the next few days. I've been involved with some heavy 'beat-the-ignorant-with-debating-stick' action recently, and the Muses seem to have some kind of grudge against me - perhaps because my museship is cooler? Anyway, true procrastinators know that Muses only come out after midnight, so...
Well, I'm pretty tired. And I want to chill a bit. So I'm going to be rather vapid, moreso than usual. I'll also be playing a lot of piano, because the next two days are the last chance I have before I'm at home! I've finished off Burgmuller's L'Abaresque and almost done with Kabalevsky's Toccatina, so the next stop is a little Sonatina... Who was it by? It's not one of Clementi's...
So. well, wish me a good night. I'm going to get some sleep, I've been completely unable to for the last few days.
Hugs!

hi darling,
Well, you *know* that I am always telling you to go to bed!
Who are your muses? And why do they keep such late hours? I reckon muses can come out whenever they like. Though I admit I am often kept up way too late by feelings of inspiration. Perhaps not especially muses, but maybe something similar.

Good heavens. Do you think we love you because of your intelligence and intellectual abilities? Think again. Okay, I know this is a part of who you are but it isn't all of you. I am mostly taken by your very big heart and your ability to feel compassion for others. The big brain stuff is also very interesting and often quite impressive, but it is your heart that impresses me most.
Anyhow . . . get to bed! And sleep as much as you need to.
You know we will all be here waiting for you. Your little h2g2 family. I'm very happy to be a part of it.
kissitos,
az

Aw, thanks both of you!
[es az on the cheek ]
Thanks for tucking me in. I think Math makes a great daddy, too, we're like a big confused family on h2g2! Della, you can be a sister, I think. Or a niece. I don't know why, but it sounds like a great familial position for you! Maybe an aunt? 'Aunty Della' sounds good to me! And what are you, az? If you're my h2g2 mommy... then Math can't be dad, he must be my grandad... which means Della is your sister and Math's daughter... which means that she must have been the rebellious teenager who went Christian in defiance of her druid parent! See, it all works out! Defiant Della, Daughter of the Despotic Druid Daddy! It alliterates brilliantly, so it must be true!
Noggin can be the pedantic uncle/great uncle who corrects people's words.
Goodnight for a bit now - I'm off for a late-afternoon nap, methinks!

Oh - and my muses are probably just my overactive delta waves which just don't want to ease me to sleep like they should!

Jordan,
Be careful. I have already called Noggin a 'sweetie' on the god thread and now you are calling him 'great'
It might just go to his head if we keep this up.
btw, that should have read 'I have just *shaken*'. Noggin, you are sleeping on the job here!
