Hey-up Batty!
Thanks for the welcome, and so prompt too! I look forward to getting to know H2G2 - but what does it stand for, I guess I understand the H and G but why the 2's?
I think I've sorted out my nick-name (Deadwood, from my name Daniel Edward... D. Edward... Deadwood). If it doesn't work, let me know.
By the way I just heard an advert for a tribute to Douglas Adams on radio four tonight at 6.30pm, if you're interested and by a radio.
When petted Zero rolled on his back and showed me his belly - he must like you.
Thanks again,
Dan

h2g2 is for HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2 Hs, 2 Gs)
Glad Zero Tolerance likes me. I miss my dog, Goldie. She's living with my mother in North Carolina now and on constant squirrel patrol on the back deck.
I would really enjoy the radio program, however I'm in New York City so I'm not sure I'll get it.
Welcome again! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hi Batty
Oh right, h2g2 I see. Don't I feel stupid!
Sorry to hear that you are missing your dog, but I'm sure she's keeping your mum company when you're not there.
See-ya
D.
