A Conversation for The Big Bang

Astronomer

This is a very interesting article, and it comprises most of the traditional scientific cosmology in few phrases. This is great as an introduction.
However, there are some corrections to be made.
1) The formation of elements happened at the end of the third minute, not at the end of the first second. Also, the amount of each type of element are fixed by theory, and they are consistent with the measured quantities, so it should be mentioned as one of the main supports of the BB theory.
2) There is no explosion. The name big bang was created as a joke. There is no force impulsing the galaxies. The space between them is expanding. There is each time more space than before. In the traditional cosmology, there is only one force driving the Universe: gravity. Nowadays, there is dark energy making the universe expands faster than ever.
I would like you add that Hubble found the distance of the galaxies he had observed the redshift by means of a particularity of certain stars, whose brightness change in time with a period that is proportional to its maximum brightness.
I would also ask you to replace stars by galaxies when discussing Hubble and the redshift.
