I just bought a Stargate DVD set on Ebay, and I'm feeling buyers' guilt. It's the first time I've bought anything from Ebay.
Did I need it? (no) Could that money have been spent better somewhere else? (yes) Can I afford it? (unless something terrible happens in the next two weeks, yes) Will it make me happy, or if not entirely, let me enjoy myself? (hey, it's PA- we've got to have something to watch) Did I really give in to impulse there?
Yes.
Is that bad? I don't do it often, but still.

No it's not bad, as long as you don't do it too often, and as long as you can afford what you bid on.
Soooo easy to go ebay crazy though, so be careful...

You have to let your hair down sometimes, so long as it is only sometimes
Being good and careful all the time is such a drag. The guilt is dreadful, I know exactly what you mean

Which series did you get Scan? I got all mine from a shop in Fareham when they were doing them for 30 quid a set, I'm desperatly waiting for season 8. I've used Ebay 3 times and not had a problem.

I'm always getting buyer's guilt, not just on ebay but about every single thing I buy myself. Don't feel bad about it, because if you only bought things that you *needed* then the world wouldn't be much fun. Besides...you need fun in your life
Ebay is very easy to get spend-happy on though. You can go on there innocently browsing through DVD players and then suddenly find yourself looking through bondage masks and bidding on 1902 bakelite clarinets!
Oh and Reef, reckon our Scan knows where Fareham is? That cosmopolitan of English culture!

It has a Sliverscreen in it and they were doing SG-1 boxsets going cheap and I didn't fancy going to Southampton once a month to get the cheap sets.
I guess Fareham does have to be experienced
