you are right about the individuals right to choose to smoke or drink and i'm not sure if it is right for them to have the opportunity to collect millions for them making a choice. i'm curious though, when it comes to alcohol, should the true innocent victims, which are the ones which are killed or injured by the drunk driver, have a right to sue an alcohol manufacturer? If cigerette companies are responsible for the death of smokers which CHOOSE to smoke for 40-50 years and they no longer can advertise things such as the marlboro man because it influences people to smoke, then why would'nt alcohol companies be partly responsible for the death of the innocent ones who are killed by the drunk ones? if the marlboro man can't show his face, why should all the beautiful women and men with their six pack muscles, funny frogs, and one of the most catching phrases, wuuuz up, be allowed? it all seems so confusing and backwards

Hi and welcome new researcher!
You make some good points here!
But! Posting on a an entry which is so old the original author probably won't get back to you or anyone else see it!
I just had a look at yr space and found it from there, as I often have a look at new researchers pages to see how they're getting on!
Some advice for getting the most out of h2g2 is to give yrself a name, click on preferences, and adding an intro, I think click edit page. Then people can come and say hello and offer assistance and guidance!
If u have any other questions hit the reply button and i'll try and answer them.
Good look and happy surfing!
