..and I wish I wasn't.
For the second time, an entry of mine has gone through editing & come out worse, in my opinion, than when it went in. Unless the editorial process is improved, I don't think I shall write any more entries. I don't want my name attached to writing that I feel is of an unsatisfactory standard.

What a surprise that was to see this on the front page with no warning in the subbing thread - I am very disappointed too...

If they were going to put an Entry through with minimal editing, they should have chosen your original version. Z doesn't even get credited in the author list, but it is his rewrite... Didn't take into account some of our suggestions, and certainly didn't get your OK first...

Rant indeed...

I have contacted Z - apparently he passed it on to someone else without the accompanying convo. He's getting in touch with the Eds, so maybe we'll get some amendments.
