Cranium Game
Ellen Started conversation Mar 22, 2005
Our singles group had a party last weekend, and we played a game called Cranium. It was so much fun!!! The game is a blend of a lot of different activities -- trivia questions, word definitions, spelling, charades, drawing, and even sculpting with clay. My favorite part was drawing of course, and my team let me do that a lot. I even had to draw a "drive in movie theater" with my eyes closed. I was rather stumped when I had to draw a "chocolate mousse," so I drew a moose, but my team kept guessing "reindeer." And the charades were hilarious. You all should have seen one of the guys trying to demonstrate "cocktail dress." I was so taken by the game that I bid on it on ebay, my favorite place to buy stuff now. (Don't bid against me anyone, I'm hoping to get it at reasonable cost!) I can't wait to play Cranium with my siblings; what a hoot that will be!

They also have a kids' version of the game. Lots of fun for adults and kids.

I like the "draw with your eyes closed" thing, i am hopeless at drawing if i try and actually copy stuff properly, i resort to looking at the object/view, whatever, not the paper and sort of feeling it instead. then i usually end up with a sort of Dali type outline, which i can work with...so i would probably be with you on this!

It does sound like a fun game! Maybe I can find a used one, too, sometime. I won't look on eBay till after your auction's over, though.
