I found this hysterical. Both George Bush and John Kerry were campaigning today in the same town - Davenport. (One that's funny in itself, both going after the exact same town on one day) Police were needed to help protect the candidates and to accompany their motorcades. So guess what happened? Three Davenport banks were robbed! Pretty savvy of the robbers to realize the police would be distracted. (Two, that's funny, although I do feel sorry for the tellers and the people in the bank) And the supreme irony to all this is that Bush had cut funding to the Davenport police during his term by about $100,000. (Three, that's funny, if infuriating too) To prove I am not making this up, here's the link where I read about it:
