Big Buffalo River Canoe Trip
abbi normal "Putting on the Ritz" with Dr Frankenstein Posted Jun 17, 2004
I've always thought walking is the best exercise because it is natural to humans. Humans must not walk much compared to early man
I never miss the weather or the allergies in Indiana!(next door to Ohio and fairly close to Memphis)
Colorado has harsher changes but it is drier, milder and sunnier. It would be hard for me to move back East. It has fewer trees (good news/bad news )so less severe allergies for me.
Good for you! Walking Ellen
Sorry to cut you short on IM.
The phone ringing when I am on IM might be frustrating at times.
Better for us to stick to after phoning hours ( 10pm)or risk that happening. Your choice too let me know.

Who wants to see canoe pictures? Sadly we did not get a picture of me in the canoe, but there are several shots from my vantage point going down river. And there is one so-so shot of me in my crummy Blockbuster T-shirt at the campsite.

I think I will send out the one of the tree leaning way out over the water, that's a good one and shows just what I was describing in my journal.

Finally got time to read up on this JEllen...and i saw the photos!
It looks & sounds a lovely trip! just the right amount of excitement & relaxation.
Being on water i find a great experience, when i lived on narrowboats it was wonderful to be able to spend all my time doing this sort of thing BUT in comfort, take your home along with you! I don't think i would have been brave enough to do it by canoe, well done that you are! Canoes can get into remote places which bigger boats can't, so it's far more of an adventure.
Fancy your tents nearly blowing away!!!
