I got four pairs of new shoes this week. (Which means I had to buy eight pairs, since I wear different sizes!) They are all cute, and very comfortable. Here's some links to pictures of two of them:

I've always been paranoid about embellished shoes. I'm afraid the sparkly bits will come off in the wash or something. Those are cute shoes!

The shoes are very nice, and seem comfortable too. But I have to disagree with you, PC - I absolutely _hate_ shopping for shoes. Not a big fan of shopping in general, but shoes are the worst.
The last time I got shoes was alright, because I was out of the store in minutes... I just told the guy that I want shoes that are (1) good for winter (i.e. not necessarily boots, though that's what I had in mind, but not too open), (2) With no stupid frills or embroidery or faux-fur or whatever (for some reason that seems to be fashionable this winter - I think it looks ridiculous), and (3) no high heels.
He showe me a pair of boots, I tried it on, I liked it, I called my mum (who was in a nearby store) for a second opinion, she liked it, I got the boots, I left. 
That made me very happy.

I hate shopping, too. I think I enjoy shoe shopping because I wear a small size and can nearly always find at least two pair I want within about 20 minutes or so.
