The 'Escape from the black hole committee' are currently looking for a 'keeper of the log' We are trying to find someone who has a keen interest in history or archeaology together with the ability to string a sentence together. As a keen archaeologist you were of course our second choice after that Tony Robinson bloke who does time team but he wasn't available. Do join us at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F84869?thread=169442&skip=160&show=20 if you are in any way interested,

err.. yes. (but don't tell anyone!)
It's been ages since I checked it too! How's everything going?
Have you finished your book yet?
So much has happened since I last saw you but here isn't really the best place to discuss it!
Send me an e-mail sometime ([email protected])
