Well I have a job a 5 yr training post and I have passed my exam MRCP Part 1.

Now my life is back where I wanted it to be and I have achieved my goals for the year to date. If I pass part 2 in December then I'll be able to have my life plan back on course.

I did want to have Part 1 and 2 out of the way by the end of 2007. Then it's just the hard bit to go and I can concentrate on that in 2008.

Well done you.... I'm still waiting for my life to 'get back on track'... it went astray somewhat... about fifteen years ago

Bravo! No need to worry about the cats, then? And it's going to hard to get your head around *not* going to S. Africa. How are they going to keep you down on the farm, now that you've seen Paree?


Does anyone else do what I do? Say you can't find your credit card momentarily. You immediately start thinking about whjere you might have dropped it, the best way to replace your steps, what arrangements you need to make to pay for whatever, all the phonecalls you might have to make...everything planned out in detail, all in the time taken to look in the right pocket. What a waste of a brain!

Edward, I left my purse at home this morning. Several hours later I noticed it wasn't in it's usual place under my desk. I even started making a list of places to call to cancel credit cards. Then it dawned on me that I hadn't brought it with me. I was furious with myself.

Just think how much worse it must feel when you've made unnecessary plans for emigration!

Congratulations on passing the Part 1 Z. And getting yourself a job over here. Do you know when you'll be told about which hospital you'll be working at? It must be a pain knowing your relocating but not quite sure where to.
