I am a fan of Star Trek, as well as Star Wars. Just not quite to the same degree. I liked the original Star Trek best, just ate it up as a kid. I like the fact that you can now rent those on DVD. The newer Star Treks are pretty good too - I like Picard, and Data. Did you see the latest Trek movie, Nemesis?

Yep, I saw Nemesis. They screened it in the cinema in our city, together with 2 other movies (non Star Trek), in an SF night. I like Nemesis a lot, actually, and don't really understand all the critics... Then again, maybe I didn't expect anything because of all the critical reviews and that's why it was still good. Don't know...I just liked it!
I am a big fan of ST Voyager (especially because of the women on there ), and was very sad when it ended. Luckily we have got about all the episodes on tape! I met Jeri Ryan (7 of 9) in person on a Star Trek convention and have met several of the others too. I just like it, it is entertaining and fun and good for my English (which is always my excuse!).
Would be interesting to chat with you a bit more about SF in general and everything else that we can think of! Only if you like that too, though...

Jeri Ryan is a cool actress, isn't she? Very striking!

Do you read much science fiction? I love Ray Bradbury, he's my favorite science fiction author.

I don't read too much SF, just some books. I do have the whole Hitchhikers Guide, we have got the Lord of the Rings books, and I have got 'His Dark Materials Trilogy' from Philip Pullman. Other than that... not really too much SF books...
