A Conversation for Talking Point: The Greatest Day of Your Life?

It was the general time period in which my general philosopy of life formed:
Life has no inherent purpose.
Humans exist because they do. I mean, would you rather they didn't?
Life is the meaning of life.
If there isn't a reason not to do something, then why not do it?
Consider every day your lucky day: You are here.
Never be offended. Other people's opinions have no influence on yours unless you want them to.
Take the path of least harm to the world.
You are responsible for your own inactions, too.
Happiness is exactly what you think it is.
Whenever deciding whether to do something, imagine how much you'll regret it if you do. Now imagine how much you'll regret it if you don't. (Believe me, I learned this the hard way.)
Tomorrow is the result of today.
Never back out on something you've decided.
Reality is what everyone believes.
Entropy, in general, is bad. Simply because progress is the antithesis of entropy.
Too much organization is bad.
Do something great with your life. You only get one chance, and after that you are only what people remember about you. Who do you want to be remembered as?

I have a question:
on the "Whenever deciding whether to do something, imagine how much you'll regret it if you do. Now imagine how much you'll regret it if you don't. (Believe me, I learned this the hard way.)" bit.....what about if the regrets are equal, if you know what I mean?

Um, good question. I'll have to think about that.
Anyway, I didn't intend to go on that long, I just kept thinking of different pieces of it and got a bit carried away.
Key: Complain about this post
