A Conversation for Talking Point: Scary Stories for Halloween
True Story: Guardian Angels and the Number 68 Bus
Zak T Duck Started conversation Oct 25, 2001
I was about 17 and on my way home from a short but particularly bad day at 6th form. I got on the bus and as usual I made my way up to the top deck, because since the public transport system round where I live is always underused, the top deck is usually empty.
A few stops before I reached mine, I was joined on the empty top deck by a young woman. She was around 20-25 and had long dark hair, pale complexion and deep blue eyes that you just fall into. As she walked past she looked at me and smiled as if she knew who I was, and then proceded to sit down near the back of the bus.
I thought nothing of this, until I was approaching my stop. As I got up, I looked around and the top deck was still deserted.
I've told this story to a radio phone-in ghost special a while back, and I was told that the chances are the person I saw was actuaally my guardian angel.
Odd that.
