I wouldn't bother with any Pete Wylie albums.

His stuff is good for one song only. Everything else on them is just a mixture of ego and filler smiley - erm

You'll want to add 'Come Back' and 'Seven Minutes to Midnight' to that list, and maybe 'Remember' as well. And that lot will give you all the decent stuff he's ever done in his 25 year career.

Hmm...I assumed you'd already have Grace...in my opinion you should definitely get it smiley - ok!

(I thought I'd found the perfect man...he loves Queens of the Stone Age *and* Patsy Cline...but then I found out he doesn't like Jeff Buckley....who doesn't like Jeff Buckley smiley - yikes??)

clzoomer- a bit woobly

Same thing happened to me with Reggae Got Soul, so I bought True Love and am very happy with the rest of the album. So many of those *Duet* albums are a disappointment but this one isn't. Can't say the same for Lux Aeterna from the Requiem For A Dream soundtrack. I can't get enough of the single but the rest of the album is mood music pure and simple. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for it.

I just acquired Grace for six quid in Music Zone. Good album. And Halleluljah, which i heard for the first time last week, is quick galloping up my all-time favourites list already. Six and a half minutes of perfection.

I was also very happily surprised by the soundtrack from *The Good Thief*. Also by an old, old Tom Waits album *Rain Dogs*, but then again I was very disappointed by Silje Nergaard's *nightwatch* which has only one good tune on it.

Egon, has your taste in music changed now that you're a *short sides and top* goatee wearing cat? smiley - winkeye

I bought Tom Waits' Small Change a while back, on the absios of Tom Traubert's Blues, and love it.

Oh, and I listened to "grace" last night- how did I avoid this beautiful music for so long? Lover, you should have come over, corpus christi carol, the rest, and of course Halelujah. Genius.
