I got up in the morning (very rare for me at weekends), ate breakfast, got the metro to gateshead, reading time magazine on the train, found Gateshead civic centre, attended a Liberal Democrat hustings meeting where we could vote for who gets on the European list for the north east next year, went to "The Baker's Oven" for lunch, wandered vauely around trying to work out which of the River tyne's bridges the Baltic Art Gallery was near, discovered it was the Millenium bridge, went to the Baltic, taking in all the exhibits (including a very intriguing Anthony Gormley one) and buying a book, nipped over the bridge into Newcastle and bought Mavis's album from a small independent record shop, got the metro back to sunderland, made myself a prawn curry for dinner, then mooched down to this 'ere 24-hour university computer suite to check hootoo. Oh, and I see everton won as well, that is good news.
