Are 'Nids too good?

Ok, I want to make this clear, I like 'Nids, I collect 'Nids, but I have NEVER seen them lose a battle! Why is this? With the exception of one Whit Dwarf battle report, the 'Nids have always won, they should rule the universe by now! What do you think? Should they be weakened? I think they should (No shooty, all teeth!).

I have lost with the Tyranids before but that could be my fault smiley - biggrin. I do know what you mean though, the Tyranids are a very good army. It would probably be a good idea to make them less powerfull but the same could be said about the Necrons. They shouldn't make the Tyranids worse, they should make the other armies better.

I thought that, but it won't work with the Guard: If you give them bigger guns, there just like the Tau, If they were faster, they'd be Eldar, they've already got the best tanks (except for the Land Raider) and if they were tougher, they'd be Space Marines. I think the same problems would crop up for all the 'Original' armies (eg: Normal Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Sisters, Orks and Eldar/Dark Eldar). There isn't a lot you can do to them without ruining the character of the army. What do you think?

Good point. But you can't take away all of the Tyranid's guns that would make it difficult to win certain scenarios. Maybe the codex should have included more special rules to make the Tyranid less good.

Purple Moose - He comes, he goes. But mainly the latter...

Tyranids are not too powerful, many times i have seen my darling Hormagaunts splatted across the ground like jelly being hit by a baseball bat.(normally by Guard tanks.)
