The very way Ford Prefect is described to walk, talk, sleep, booze, and basically do anything pertaining to living, is extremely appealing to a lot of females I know. "Something" about him is irresistible. His on-off relation with Dent, and his half-hearted altruism, as opposed to whole-hearted hedonism, makes him perhaps the most attractive alien in the h2g2 bandwagon.
I am unashamedly a follower.

Have you seen the trailers for the new Harry Potter movie? I think the lad who plays Ronald Weasley is a potential Ford Prefect of the future (hey, maybe it's the original's son?!) In fact, by the time Disney are finally ready to film HHGG, he'll probably be old enough for the role!
So, what do we call ourselves... the members of this elite band? Fordists? Prefectionists?
Like that last one!
