Finally we're moving house on the 1st of June! So once we get all settled in and that it'll be time for a paaaaaartaaaaaayyyyy

That's bloody great news! J's away until the 3rd, will I be in the way if I come up for my birthday and help with the move?

EV says you can do the move for us and we'll go away for the weekend

Seriously though, the more helpers the merrier! I'm not allowed to do any heavy lifting anyway so I'm sure EV'll appreciate the extra pair of hands

I think I'll stay home. Not sure I could do any heavy lifting either!

I was just gonna hire a couple of strong boys to do our move anyway, so you and I can supervise

It's been all go actually! We signed a lease for a private let, then the housing association phoned up and said we're being considered for a house or flat in the brand new development, so it's a brand new place all to ourselves at cheaper rent The private let guy is cool about it and is even going to give us our deposit back, which is really nice of him We're going to the housing association tomorrow to sort out details and hopefully we'll be able to move in very very soon

That sounds great! I hope they give you a house straightaway, then you haven't got to worry about moving again unless you feel like it (or have more kiddies).

Phase 1 is ready to move into in a couple of weeks I think and it's one of those houses we've been offered, which is great. But even if we had to wait a little while longer I wouldn't have minded that at all. Oh yeah, we finally managed to get that maternity grant sorted too, so that's an extra few hundred squids we can use for the move. Our wee girly is going to have the cutest room!

Pink or purple?

Unfortunately I'm over with my Mum for her birthday that weekend or else I would happily have helped with the move.

It's okay cos we're just gonna get a removals firm in but thanks for the offer!

I quite fancy doing Jennifer's room a nice lilac or light green colour, with a cute wee border. I want to get one of those toy hammocks so she can put the fluffy teddies and that there, but as for the giant Pooh FC got her, I'll have to buy him a chair

She got a giant poo? Tch.
