I'm with cunningly disguised and T.B on the whole "paying a monthly fee to play" issue..
I bought Guild Wars: Factions last year and I play that every once in a while.. No monthly subscriptions and they always add new stuff, so even if you've been through a place and done all the quests there, you can find new ones if you go back after about a month or so.
Suits me fine.

Well I don't mind paying the subscription fee that much to be honest. There's always something to do in WoW and Blizzard are pretty good at keeping things interesting
