What's going on? Today, as I was closing a window I trapped my little finger between the window and the frame - with a bang! I immediately stuck it in my mouth and went in search of ice. Lgaments in both ankles and now this? There must be a message in this somewhere.
On the accident report form I had to fill in, when it asked what steps could be taken to prevent a similar accient in future, I put 'Be more careful!'

'It could be also coincidence' - yes - Roy has sent me reiki protection for the right hand, just in case! He's also sent reiki healing for the little finger, which resembled a red grape.

Reiki seems to be getting very popular. My friend in Argentina is trained in Reiki, and staying with her "long lost" family in Argentina found they were Reiki trained too.
Recently my son had a Reiki session, and said he found it very relaxing, and hopes to have some more. I suggested he train, as he has "healing hands". He used to make my migraines much easier with gentle massage.
I hope that this third mishap is the last for you. Are you still as frantically busy as you used to be? Could it me that you are tired and it is lack of concentration?
Oh, and by the way, have you heard from AlsoRan1 lately. She has been very quiet on HooToo. Is it because her problems with the site have upset her, or because she has her granddaughter(?) staying with her?
I wondered if you could give me her email address, as I would like to drop her a line privately. It would be such a shame if we lost touch because of her problems with HooToo.
Mine is twirly60"at"yahoo"dot"co"dot"uk if you could do it privately. Please put Singing Fish in the subject tine so I know it is not spam.
PS how is the car these days?

Hi Websailor!
I've just sent you a 'hello' e-mail. I'll check with AR1 before giving you her e-mail address. It's about time I rang her. Yes, she's gone quiet.
Yes, perhaps I should start thinking that things come in threes, and not think about 'Well I've hurt both ankles, now I've started on my hands'. It's all extremety stuff.
I think I may have not been careful enough to keep my finger insulated from the ice - the back of the finger has swollen and it may be a freezer burn.
I did a reiki course a two years ago and have found it very useful. When little hurts himself, he comes to me and says 'Reiki, mum!'
How is the car? Well, yesterday, after coming home, I went out to put some stuff in the recycling bin and noticed I'd left the back door open (well, little had, but it's my responsibility). Oops! Still, the car was still there. It's going nicely and I really enjoy driving it.
How are things with you?

If AR1 is having problems with h2g2, is there anything we can do? I sort ed her out the last time - can we do something similar again?

Traveller in Time trying to find the account

Will try to find the 'new'- May account again. "

Gnomon,
How was it done last time? I know that Websailor is quite concerned about AR1 being locked out.

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Jun 10, 2005
Last time, she had been given a new account after Single Sign On, and couldn't access her old one, but was having problems getting onto the new one.
I got her to e-mail me her account details, including password. She was actually locking herself out by answering the wrong questions at the wrong time. I logged on as her, set her password to something new, then told her the new password. I set her Nickname to exactly the same as her old account.
Then I went through every conversation that her original account was subscribed to and subscribed the new account to the same conversations. I added all the friends from her old account onto her new friends list. I left messages at the personal spaces of everybody who had the old AR1 as a "friend" asking them to make the new AR1 a friend too. The only thing I couldn't do was make the new AR1 an author of her one Edited Entry.

Traveller in Time still searching
"I sa a posting/ entry <?> by her last May, suggesting she lost the account again.
However according to 'Zarquons Singing Fish's Journals she managed to get in, shortly after or before? "

Gnomon, I'll ask AR1 what the problem is and see where we go from here. Are you willing to help again? She says she has e-mailed you. Did you get her e-mail? Has she just forgotten her password? Do you still have it?
Websailor, I've had an e-mail reply from AR1 thanking me for giving her your e-mail details. Hopefully she will have contacted you. If not, I'll give her address to you by e-mail.
TiT - I'll let her know how concerned you are too.

ZSF,
Off to check emails shortly
At least she will still be getting some contact, and she seems such a lovely lady.

My dear ZSF and Websailor
Thank you both so much for your emails. All addresses are now correctly installed. I have just managed to get rid of my first lettr to you so this will not be so long!!
LLWaz has all my new details except for the name of the old server. I cannot remember if it is onetel or freeserve. Pan seems to think that this details should be in my cookies - whatever they are.
I would be so grateful if Gnoman would also have a go. I shall willingly send him all my deatils again. But I shall have to log onto his page which at at the moment I have great difficulty in doing as I have no friends on my list list, and unless I can remember their number
all those lovely people are gone forever.
Please thank Traveller-in-Time as well, I am very touched that s/he has shown concern.
I am now going off to prepared a gigantic cheese souffle for our communal virtual lunch. Also a lovely salade verte with rocket, and a lively South African rose from the Swartland - chilled to perfection. So hope you enjoy the virtual feast.
With warm affection
Christiane

Oh dear Gnoman,
I have just read this. I had NO IDEA that you had to do so much work. Thank you a thousand times.
I do not know how I manage to lock myself out of my account. I thought that I just pressed the wrong key!!
I do not know what you can do now - if anything. I would be grateful for it but I wonder if it is worth all your time and energy. I asm really so sad to have lost four years of friendship and affection and care just because I pressed the wrong thing.
Ah me! Ah my!. I keep telling people that I am long past my sell by/use by date. It must be the new red hair rinse which has perked me up and made me want to continue.
Hope you enjoyed the holiday in Holland (the Netherlands as pheloxi likes to call it - I have lost him as well.!!)
With grateful thanks for past work done on my behalf, and IF you have the time (which I am sure you have not!!) for anything you can do to put me in ontact with my friends again.
Yours very sincerely,
Christiane
also Ran1
GenJoanofac.(temporarily I hope)

Sorry AR1, the e-mail address that you sent those messages to is one I don't look at unless I know somebody is trying to contact me, so I only just saw those message you sent me back in May. If you follow the instructions I sent, that should sort it out.
