A Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to all!

Here's wishing for a wonderous, joyous and fulfilling year ahead and I wish you enough:
I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting,
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough 'Hello's' to get you through the final 'Good-bye.

Thank you Fb !
I'm working on my resolutions at the moment. One is to lose a bit of weight (or rather inches - I'm not particularly bothered about being heavy as long as I'm fit and trim. For some reason, I appear to have gained weight recently. I normally don't have to bother weight watching or dieting.
I suppose another is to be more organised that I am at present. I also want to meditate twice a day, rather than once.

Thank you ZSF, for the lovely thoughts.
I'd try to express my returned good wishes, but they would pale in eloquence.
To all my fellow Researchers, and the Staff:
Have a great new year, keep the chin up and the throttle on full.
Each of us have the opportunity to make this THE year of our life, to fulfill our dreams, to make the tough changes, to live our life the way we would have designed it.
Give yourselves a blank sheet on which to design your future, and make it happen. Our past need not be an anchor, but act instead as a springboard.

Hi Fords,
Happy New Year!
I can't claim credit for the 'I wish you enough' - I wish I could. It's a bit like my other favourite wish : 'Sunshine on your back; a day without shadows' which is Irish, I think.
I also like the idea of the past not being an anchor, but a springboard!

ZSF, Prideth, Fords , French Bean may you all have a very blessed and happy a year ahead.
Thank you ZSF and Fords for your very caring, wise and thoughtful words. My late Grandfather when we were living in London would send his words of wisdom in his letters to us from Northumberland.

Hi Gnomon - looking forward to wishing you happy new year in person!
Kat - good for you! So we share the same resolution. I'm already making a good start to the year by tacking what was a dumping room. It's still in process, however it looks an awful lot better now. It's not quite the last bastion - there is still the cellar and the loft to tackle, but it's the last living space.
