Kerr, because one person misunderstood the rules of the site - ie you can't impersonate another member of the site just because you've got the same name, especially if they are members who've left - I'd changed my name to Nighthoover along with half a dozen other Researchers. And we weren't impersonating the Researcher anyway, but pretending to be gods!
The second time was someone on h2g2 thinking my name would bring me into disrepute as a staff member. It was Mina - happy as a pig in shhh... mud.
On the second occasion they were gently corrected by the central community team and asked not to embarrass staff members again by resetting their nicknames. At least the first time the name was changed back to Mina.

The removal of your journal entry was completely out of line, GB. 
I'll stand with you in the complaint queue.
Now I've done it. I signed into iCan to join the Tony Curtis protest, so I may be moderated too !!
