Miss you in the Daydreamer's thread. I hope you are feeling ok. DG and I are getting ready to move up to snowy western Pennsylvania in a couple of weeks so things are sort of hectic here.

All is well, ups and downs but generally going in the right direction

Other than hecticness of packing up etc, are you excited, I am wondering why Pennsylvania out of interest?

Glad you are OK. Well DG and I went to school in western PA and her family had lived there for a number of years, so it is familiar and lovely in landscape. DG has relatives in this small town and we'll be renting a house from them for less money than our one-bedroom flat costs here. Just the winter weather will be a drag to get used to after mild North Carolina ones. 20 degrees colder up there.

Sounds like you have good reasons for moving there

How's it going?

So far so good. Thanks for asking. We were speaking of England and remarking on how a LOT of people there don't move more than 20 miles of where they were born---this is inconceivable to people born in America. Even all of the native people here moved around a lot and intermarried with strangers so I think we have a very different take on things. No better or worse but just different.

I don't how true that perception is of England on the whole and there was obviously that restless streak with the Empire and all that
