My h2g2 name: Gareth
My h2g2 Researcher number: 195690
Index page ref number: A761762
Project title: Artificial Intelligence
Description of general areas, plus a few topics that I aim to cover/get covered are described on the index page
Start date: 3rd June.
Finish date: Should be 8th July, but as I hope to enlist other authors it may take longer.
I'm a little wary about the H2G2 University's apparent reliance on deadlines. It seems to me that projects are considered finished at some point - surely they should continue to evolve after they have been "finished"? This is one of the best things about the web. Is there scope for doing this I wonder?
Yours, G.

Dear Gareth,
Thanks for volunteering to do this project - I've put you in the department of computer science at A612361
As for our deadlines - we try not to think of a project as finished when absolutely all topics are covered on a subject. We're aware of the limitations - working on a Guide to Life, the Universe and Everything is the ultimate ongoing project! Rather a project is finished when there are some entries in it. Five is usually a good number and if you'd like to start another project writing more entries, then it would be great if you did
