Probably no way I'm afraid. According to classicpcgames.com, Screamer 2 ran in DOS mode. DOS doesn't technically exist on Windows NT variants (NT, 2000 and XP) other than the command prompt "DOS Emulator" and boot floppies, so your options may be limited. Most custom DOS programs won't run at all under XP, although there are a few exeptions to the rule (such as Civilization, Sim City) these programs have usually been exceptionally coded.

You could try making a system boot floppy, and sticking some legacy drivers on there. Use that to boot to a command prompt, navigate to the folder the game is in on the hard drive, and try to run from there. Not sure how effective it'll be, if at all, but it's worth a shot.

yeah, i know windows xp dosn't have dos ...

im not certain that the problem is that directly, having explored it a littel more, if i try to run the game it says u have to run set up, but when ever i try it stops before it even reaches setup complaing it can't comunicate with com port 1, and i believe that may not even be connected . i remmeber issue with something not being deteceted because the serial port isn't connected to the motherboard.

to do what you suggest would mean setting one of the partitions to FAT32 instead of NTFS, but thats not really a problem. However it could jsut be this com port problem which might still plauge it after using it from DOS, i have come accross a website that claims they have been successfully able to run the game under win xp, though they don't specifically say how.
