Oooh, open source... goin' to go GPL?
The source to my project is all available on my home page, if anyone wants t' play with it... seems like a good way to go for private projects...

It does and it is, I don't know anyone who has my JazzyMines program, but I think is has somthing to do with Tripod and a file size limmit, is also open source, full source code, even the help file and installer script, I'm not sure were to stop, but I can't go wrong with everything.

When EventVB source was available to download off my site it blew my monthly file transfer limits Don't fancy spending even more money to upgrade my website package but if I put it on planet-source-code or similar it'll just get trashed...

Thats the problem with providers, many people have computers... I may have an idea...
I've been thinking of setting up a small server with my linux disp and broadband conection, it's only 512Kbs but it'd be enough for most downloads and a small website, hmmm, although you'd have to link it from someware else because of the DNS and IP, you could only connect though the IP unless I got someone to host a DNS name space. thinking... my webpage is st*pid on tripod. so I might just do it.

DrMO, check out http://www.dyndns.org - it's a free service which redirects a domain name to a floating IP address. You have a small (again, freeware) app in your startup which reports your new IP address to them every time you restart your computer, and it is automatically updated in the redirection tables.
