A Conversation for Talking Point: Are We Really Alone In The Universe?

Are we alone?

mikeyc0312 - Humans are mad. How else can you describe a creature that spends large amounts of time arguing with itself?

It is not possible to know yet whether any other life exists in the universe. There are six peices of information still to work out. There is a rather famous peice of thinking covering all the aspects neccesary to work out an estimate of the number of other planets with life, known as the Drake Equation. Of the 7 factors listed we know the value of just 1. Scientist's best guesses lead to values ranging from 0.02 to about 10,000.

Very good question. The Drake Equation would tell us how to estimate how much intellegent life capable of communicating with us there is. Ignoring that bit and just looking for life forms of any kind is a more realistic thing to do. It's agreed that liquid water is the key to earth-like life evolving, so it's liquid water we'd have to look for if we want to find life elsewhere in the universe. There's good evidence (not conclusive but compelling none the less) that there is liquid water on some moons orbiting Jupiter and Saturn, possibly even Mars.

I personally think it's fairly likely that simple life forms are quite common in the universe, but communicating with aliens is still science fiction. Shame really, I'd quite like to join forces with them rule the universe with an iron fist...

Scientists in nucleur physics during recent years discovered that the Heavens and Earth shared the same origin: Quran 1400 years old.
Yes, the Quran states the heavens and the earth were one connected entity. God seperated them. Chapter 21 Verse 30. Read The First 3 Minutes - Origin of the Universe, Wenberg Pages 94 - 105.

Additionally, one can view the world's renowned German geologist Professor Alfred Kroner with his comments online.

God created Mankind and Jinns. God - Lord of the WorldS. I read this in Britain within an English transliteration of the Quran.
If viewers read some Chapters mentioning scientific info it might help and lots available online already available via searches.
