I know you're all still recovering from Towel Day, but just wondering if anyone fancied helping me organise a meet for the above date? Am planning to travel up from Devon for it so would be nice to meet a few friendly faces while I'm about it...

I will be there.

But have so many other things I ahve to do on the day I cannot guarantee any hootoo meeting and greeting.

I promise nothing - but having just realised you mean a Saturday in July and not a Thursday in June - you can class me as a possible.

The usual one is the Standing Order on George Street but we can meet in others - if you like real ale, the Malt Shovel on Cockburn Street is very nice
