You could take it home and put it in the solar-powered generator to be turned back into hydrogen if you wanted.

i guess we are talking theoretically here
anyone know if any companies are pushing these ideas into design?
on a lighter note, can you drink that water then?
does it need filtered?

I'm sure it's technologically possible at the moment. Just not cost-effective, which is far more important.
I can't see any reason why you couldn't drink the water.

why don't people think up some moving water around jobs?
plumbing would go through the roof!
mind you the waste water would be a lot heavier than the hydrogen
once cooled it would be 8 times as heavy as the hydrogen u use up
so you could have reservoirs at filling stations too, for long distance
looks like the SNP are going to meet the strike demands!

As long as people are stupid enough to want to buy the big 4x4s or power cars, the car manufacturers will not want to take the lead in getting more fuel efficient cars on the roads.
The only really viable option on the market at the moment would be the Prius from Toyota, that's been out there for a while, but that is a hybrid car that still uses petrol to charge the inbuilt batteries of the car.
Also, if you have a diesel car, you can pop down your local chippy and ask them to supply you with old fryer oil. Then start your own filtering operation to clean out all the gunk from the oil before chucking it into the tank. which has been proven by several different road tests to be only slightly less efficient than regular diesel, but still a possible replacement for it. And the best thing is that you don't need to make any changes to the enging, contrary to what you need to do when converting your petrol car to run on ehtanol and hydrogen and the like.

its not that people are stupid enough to buy the cars
people are driving them around town to say
"HA HA! I don't care about this stupid planet of ours lets all DIE!"
