Wildman - I'm not really mad, I've just been in a very bad mood for 40 years! Posted Feb 17, 2004
I'm an adopted southsider now, originally from Dalry/Haymarket but this daft wee woman of mine insists that there's only one place worth living, so we're in a basement behind Surgeons Hall.
The problem with meets involving these bairns isn't in walking to the meets - it's being able to walk after the meet.
It's good to see that you're sticking with your pals from the digibox, we've never been cabled here in this area so it was never an option for me. I'm not going to go on about the recent events on that subject other than to say that I was brought up to regard a clipe as the lowest form of life.

hi wildman
i take it your well over 40 as you couldnt have been in a bad mood since you were born it must have crept up on you say when you were about 20 ha ha
i was born in northcote street many many years ago i now live in clermiston my late husband used to work in aitken and allens in the potterrow before he moved to ferrantis
surgeons hall used to be a great shopping place but like every where else its going down hill and its a shame they did the same to gorgie ,i also used to live in wardlaw street that was the posh one
everyone i'm friendly on here lives in england except for about 2 of them ,i only got pc at xmas i was on digibox for over 2 yrs on h2g2 and liesure district before that so i had lots of friends but we have all lost a lot through those 2 idiots , i hope they suffer for it
they make me mad i hate grasses unless they are in a park

Northcote Street!! We must have seen each other sometime - I was born and brought up in Caledonian Place. You wouldn't recognise Northcote now, it's new flats and the distillery is "Easter Dalry", all blocks of flats with fancy price tags and ceilings so low you can't stretch without hitting your elbows off the roof!
I might even have known your husband - 18 years in Ferranti before redundancy (mostly Robertson Avenue)- It's a small town at times

Brora, There are in deed a lot more people from Edinburgh around here. I can see a list of 12 people on the Scottish Researcher's group page that are currently located in or around Edinburgh.
I, myself, is on the west coast, over in Greenock, though.
Welcome to the joys of the Scottish Researcher's Group.
I'm sure Jamie'll add you to the Edimbra list if you so wish.
