Usually it's 4 ten hour shifts a week, but I'm working overtime. And we only have access to certain sites at work: BBC, Guardian, and of course, Telewest. Blasted Telwest

I discovered my body rebels if I try to do too many twelve hour shifts at rail enquiries, got sent home today for looking pale and shaking and nearly puking on management, that sort of thing.
And I was very insulted that people thought I was a figmant of e's imagination, I thought I was quite real thank you!!
Hxx

awake 26 hours, , had to stagger a mile home due to bus breaking down, so forgive me if I'm not my usual sensible self when I say, "Mrs V, it's not just your body rebels when you do 12 hour shifts at rail enquiries, your boss isn't too happy either, cos you work for British Airways" and "Splidunk".

Sometimes I think I work for british airways (other crap call centre jobs are available) the number of people who don't catch on that we answer "national rail enquires which stationare you travelling from" and then go on to talk about trains. And changing at peterborough and stuff, and then half an hour later say "So this is trains not flights then?" Doh Doh Doh.

I've just finished being a student thank you very much. I put in twice as many hours at uni as I did a rail enquiries, but only just.

Boy that's a whopper. You've obviously got all the necessary credentials to be a politician. No wait, you'll need to get a black binbag.
*EV whispers*
Sorry, my mistake

I have 6 50 minute lectures a week? And have more days off than days working? Personally I think thats quite good hours
Xmas Meet-up.
slarty Posted Oct 15, 2001
I'm just trying to picture a politician found hanging with a wheelie bin over his head - Satsuma Bin Milligan? I think you'ld need to drill a hole in the bottom....they usually like that anyway. or so I'm told.
Those are terrible hours Tink. It's cruel on students to only allow them to skip 6 lectures a week. Have you tried the human rights act?

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Oct 15, 2001
Nooo, it's ok as I've discovered I can skip tutorials instead See I had one last Monday which was in the morning so I missed it as I went in the afternoon so then I rearranged it to Thursday, wrote down the wrong time and missed that too...so then we tried for Friday between 9 and 12 and I managed it at 11.55
*grins*
OOh and I get to skip my first two lectures this week
