Wasn't there a series called "Families at War" or something? Mad family gameshow thing. R&M are funniest when they're just sitting around chatting and wander off into the most abstract topics without pausing for breath. Or when they're hitting each other with large frying-pans. More Spike Milligan than Monty Python though.

Yes, with Alice Beer as the umpire, and bizarreness with Vic or Bob being hoisted into a spider thing at the end to grab the prizes. On on Saturday evenings about the same time as Friends Like These is on now.

good for you i didnt see much of it for myself as i wasnt that big a fan back then but i like to see anything that there in and familys at war does get alot of jip i do remember liking what i saw.
